This kalidaar kurta has a princess cut style body on the front & at the back. Hand cut using the ‘Daraz’, (known in the Lucknow chikan industry) technique, is popularly know as Applique or Cutwork in English. The kamdani and Pitta work (beaten & flattened wire) Lotus motif’s have been done using a mix of silver and light gold wire. The tissue chanderi dupatta has a heavy geometrical design kamdani pattern on it along with small pitta work flowers.
